Although we’re still in the middle of winter, it’s not too early to be thinking about the summer! LRPC is seeking a
college age or young career individual who would be interested in serving as our Summer Youth Worker.
It is a paid position lasting approximately 10 weeks. Responsibilities will include organizing
and leading our summer program for our middle and high school youth. If you or someone you know might
be interested in the position, contact Brian or Carol Sweeney for a Job Application.
FRIDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIPS
We are continuing our study of the Book of Revelation and hope to complete our study by the end of
February or early March. Our current studies have been involved with Chapters 12 through 15, and have
centered on symbolic characters (representing individuals, leaders or kingdoms) who will make a tremendous
impact on our world. The Red Dragon (Satan) and Beasts will rule for a time, but their judgment and the
judgments of those that follow them is fast approaching! We look forward to God ushering in a “new”
heaven and earth...that one day, we who are in Christ, will enjoy forever! Come join us Friday evenings from
7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Our Goals
To provide opportunities for the youth
to grow in their knowledge and respect of God and His
word, so that they will be prepared to use their faith
and knowledge in everyday life situations.
To provide opportunities, in a safe and
friendly environment, for the youth to join together in
fellowship and worship for encouragement in their
Christian faith.
To use every opportunity to share the
truth of the saving grace of the Gospel, to those
involved in our youth ministry, to their friends that
come to youth events and to the youth in our surrounding
community.
To disciple youth that have a living
relationship with Christ and have demonstrated a
knowledge of Scripture as well as shown fruit of the
Spirit, in order to develop their spiritual growth and
leadership.
To seek volunteers who have a gift and
desire to be participating leaders serving in LRPCA's
youth ministry, by helping to disciple the youth in
their Christian faith and knowledge.
